Howdy Howdy! I am Julia, but you can call me Jules. I have always had passion and enthusiasm for helping others. I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience, while I am here to help guide you through life’s challenges, YOU are the creator of positive change and success.
In my office, everyone is welcome. All bodies, cultures, sexual identities, beliefs, and backgrounds. I am committed to helping adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, self-image issues, stress and other phase-of-life challenges. I believe that everyone deserves access to supportive and affirming care, and I am dedicated to playing a role in making that vision a reality.
Outside of the work space I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, music, digital art and snuggling up with my pets.
I most often work from the Cognitive- Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) modalities with a sprinkle of mindfulness and humanistic approaches. However, I draw inspiration from various evidence-based modalities, tailoring each approach to best fit you and your needs. Together we will challenge thoughts and beliefs that are no longer serving you and will further develop your strengths, resiliency, and confidence!
